Venue

The GLOBE Europe and Eurasia Regional Meeting and Training will take place at the HOTEL PLAŽA in Omiš, a beautiful town in the Dalmatia region of Croatia situated approximately 25 kilometres south-east of Croatia’s second largest city, Split.

Accommodation

Please, book your accommodation according to your need either in the HOTEL PLAŽA or in other accommodation offers in Omiš.
For the rooms in Hotel Plaža there are prices guaranteed for the GLOBE group (see below). Please note, that you should make the booking through HOTEL PLAŽA website with using the code GLOBE2022. The booking should be done not later than September 15.

Prices guaranteed in Hotel Plaža for the GLOBE group:

  • Single room 50 EUR/room including breakfast
  • Double room. 70 EUR/room including breakfast

Tourist tax is extra charged – 1 EUR per person per night.

Transportation to Split and Omiš

Split is well accessible by bus and train as well as by plane. When buying the air ticket, make sure that the ticket will allow you to get refunded in case you will not be able to fly due to medical reasons.

The journey from Split to Omis by bus takes 40 minutes. It is also possible to take a taxi.

The GLOBE Regional Meeting is a Green event. Please, consider the type of transportation with low impact on the environment.

Participation fee

 

Please note that travel from/to the airport is not included.

Do you want to visit Biokovo National Park, take a boat ride through the green canyon of the Cetina River or visit other beautiful places in Dalmatia? Take advantage of the opportunities Croatia offers, extend your stay (after the regional meeting and training) and take advantage of the optional programs.

Please, note that excursions are not part of the RM program. Fee for excursion is not included in the RM participation fee.
